To achieve excellence in the promotion of health and in the provision of aged care and emergency services to the community of Cobden and District.Our Vision
To be a leader in the field of the provision of accredited multipurpose non discriminatory health and aged care.Endeavour to continually strive to improve our present services and to introduce complimentary new services in an informed and competent manner.

Our Future - 2010
We will have a sixty bed aged care facility that meets the needs of our community and residents. Our primary concern will be residents. We will focus on the quality of care and the quality of the environment.
The facility will meet all accreditation and government requirements and be financially sustainable.
We will continue to provide emergency stabilisation.
The emergency stabilisation unit will continue to operate in response to community need.
It will meet all accreditation and government requirements.
We will continue to develop and evolve services and programs to promote the health and well being of our community
Continue to deliver a wide range of health promotion programs and services and increase the number of people accessing the programs and services.
Develop innovative and creative programs and services in response to community need
We will strengthen the community's connection with the service
Increase in the awareness by the community of Cobden District Health Services' programs and services.
Greater use of the facilities by members of the community
Increased numbers participating in health promotion and prevention programs and services
Increased interest by community members in becoming part of the Board of Management
Strong volunteer program in place.
We will develop new programs and facilities to meet the needs of our community
The Home Again Soon program will be well established
A warm water exercise pool will be built and operating in Cobden
A masterplan for Cobden District Health Services' land will have been completed and construction of Independent Living Units (ILUs) will have commenced.
We will work in partnership with others to support the planning and provision of quality health services for our community
Maintain strong relationships with the three levels of government to support good planning and health care delivery to our community.
Continue to work with others on the attraction of General Practitioners to our community.
Have a number of programs and services delivered by other Health services delivered out of our facilities.
